I have searched and searched for a better way of hauling my tools around from job to job. I am an electrician with Local 26 and have tried tool boxes of all sizes, bags of all sizes and just wasn't happy with any of them, Until now! I have used this tool backpack for a month now, I have loaded it up with everything on the Union tool list plus a few extra items to make my life easier, and there is still room to spare. I even fit my hacksaw in it. This bag is great! I can climb anywhere needed and can bring everything with me. My search is over!

I had read some questionable reviews on this bag but I really liked the idea of a tool backpack for my job so I gave it a try. As a previous reviewer said its only good for short tools and thats true theres lots of pockets for 4 inch tools. Anyway after about two months of full time use the one of the zippers gave out. The straps on this thing are the same as the ones found on a normal backpack used for school. Overall the construction is light duty and is not at all comparable to my other clc bag. I want to check out http://www.toolpak.com/ but I cant find enough info on it to determine if its any better.

So many pockets, so few tools. This bag meets all of my needs and makes schlepping my tools to my car 5 blocks away a breeze. Really well thought out. Wish there were more big pockets with a flap instead of 2 small ones (to fit 30' tape measure for example). Otherwise a great product.

I purchased this for my dad for christmas. He is a mobile repaiman, and has to lug his tools from hiw work van, to his work area at every job. He likes it, and says its just the right size, not too heavy when its loaded full of tools, but still has plenty of space. In fact he sais theres so many pockets, that he still has empty spots.

Bought to replace the 23 pocket version. This is an awesome bag. I'm a 5'9" 180# man, and this bag is just small/light enough to carry around full. Any bigger and it would have been pretty unwieldy, but this is perfect. I didn't find the detachable end pouch to be particularly useful, but that's my single complaint. the pictures don't show it well, but one great feature is a metal "Tape Measure" tab riveted into the largest center pocket, right underneath the handle. If you use a smaller clip-on belt pouch, you can keep your favorite few tools in the pouch, and clip it to this little tab when you want to store it, so all your tools are together without you having to transfer them back and fourth. Mine holds an assortment screwdrivers, a complete set of allen wrenches, assorted pliers, three different wire strippers, three different crimpers, two flashlights, a tone/probe kit, a butt set, a DMM, a field soldering kit, a punchdown tool, and a lot of smaller tools, with a bit of room to spare. Just the ticket for any electronic field service. Highly reccomended.

I am a journeyman electrician for a software development company, and my toolbag is with me almost all day. My boss had this same bag and I was impressed with many of the features. I purchased one for myself and have been using it for the better part of a month. Overall, the bag is high quality with a lot of nice features. The end pouches are great for holding my frequently used tools like linemans, dykes, nut drivers, and screwdrivers. the small plano-style box is very handy for things like wire nuts and ground tails. On the negative side, the center pouch is a little too short to hold my hammer and my jab saw. They both stick out one side at an angle, and have fallen out a couple times. Also, the shoulder strap isn't padded and when you have 20-30 lbs of tools in it, it starts to hurt pretty quick. It's still one of the best toolbags I've owned, and I have had quite a few.

This is a bigo huge bag, then when you unfold the center section, it gets bigger. I picked it up at holm dipo for fortenin bux. It's really overkill for my needs, but will do. I moved my commonly used tools from a cardboard box into the bag, like dropping a peanut in a pumpkin. I used maybe a quarter of the pockets, and the center section is nearly empty. Even my big long screwdrivers fit without sticking out of the center section.



It's very well built, strong stitching, five rubber feet on the bottom, heavy duty zippers, strong nylon material, good handles. My only complaint is that the shoulder strap had one of the latches flipped outside the catch, and was nearly impossible to remove, and now won't close cause it's bent. I couldn't tell it was like this because it was ziptied preventing me from seeing it, and it was the last one. Also, it doesn't come with one of those cool electrical tape holders.



They did have some Husky brand ones that were also very well built, maybe better, and less expensive. Search their website for 1539, and nothing comes up.

As an electrician this is the most practical bag i have ever owned. The two compartments on either sides have individual pockets keep all my everyday tools organized and easy to find. The center compartment is long enough to fit my hack saw, hammer, long screwdrivers and other extras. the only thing that worries me is the heavy duty zippers sometimes skip teeth when they turn corners on the bag. But i have seen these bags at 5 years old and the zippers were still in tact. Its to bad they don't have more descriptive pictures or i would have bought this bag sooner.

I bought this bag form amazon after looking at several bags both at H.D. and on-line. Liked the way the zippered pocket holds the hand tool compartments. Very handy when carrying by the shoulder strap and also protecting the tools from the elements. Bag was a little larger than I anticipated, but well made. Would be better if the center compartment had pockets too but no major complaints. I would recommend this bag to service techs that want to limit trips to and from the van.

I've looked long and hard for a tool bag just the right size and not only enough pockets but the right size and depth. Its perfect for the tools I normally carry plus has room for quite a few more without making it too heavy. The center compartment is of sufficient size to put electrical fittings, devices and boxes cutting down on multiple trips to the service van. I hope to have this bag for a long time but when that time comes that it does wear out, I would get exactly the same one next time too.

I have used the smaller version of this for years and decided to consolidate Two of them into this larger one, worked well. A little harder to carry because of added size and weight, but nice to have all tools in one bag. I'm a contractor operating out of a VW station-wagon, so the small footprint is nice. The only change I'd make is to have a couple of longer sections in the slide-out box. (I store my spade bits in one chamber). I solved the problem by just sawing out a couple of the dividers myself. There is also just enough space in the box pocket (along side the box) for my Dewalt reciprocating saw blade case.
